Regional Finals Information

We are excited to see you at the competition! Below is a schedule of important dates to keep in mind while you prepare for competition, and forms/templates that will be helpful. This is your “one-stop spot” for all Competition Information!

Important Dates & Deadlines

• Nov 6 – Registration Closes

  • Step 1 Due (click here to complete)

  • Step 2 Due (via https://forms.gle/dYytT91zXwdVQC6K7)

  • Payment Due (submitted to Jane/CMF)

• Nov 18 – “What to Expect at Regional Finals” Informational Session on Zoom (@7:30pm EST)

  • Lead adult and at least one team member are required to attend!

• Date/Time TBA - Cars Due to Jane

  • Teams will hand deliver a car to Jane Scaletta/CMF for racing. Cars should be submitted with the Car Submission Checklist (copy below).

• Dec 2 – Project Elements Due

  • Digital Submission of Project Elements by 11:00pm CAYMAN TIME

• Date & Time TBA - Racing Session Broadcast and Awards Ceremony

For reference, below is a recording of last year’s session which will be very similar to this competition. Review the recording below where we covered how project submission, racing, and awards will all work for the Regional Finals.

Team IDs

Team IDs for Regionals are randomly generated and used to quickly identify your team by the event staff and judges. Please include this ID on ALL correspondence that you have with our team (INCLUDING ON ALL EMAILS) to help us quickly identify your team. This ID will also be needed for document and car submission. TEAM IDs will be generated and distributed after registration closes.

Digital Project Elements are due NOVEMBER 27TH AT 11:00PM CAYMAN TIME, per C2.10.3.

Car Submission Checklist

NOVEMBER 16TH AT 4:00PM CAYMAN TIME

Please note: this is not postmarked, this is received by Sian Weinzweig/CMF for racing by NOVEMBER 16 AT 4:00PM CAYMAN TIME for racing. Cars should be hand delivered
